The Bridge Teen Center Founder and Executive Director, Priscilla Steinmetz, is the fourth finalist in WGN TV’s 2024 Remarkable Women contest. All month during International Women’s Month, WGN TV highlighted several Chicagoland women that are making a positive difference in the community. During the news segment that aired on Tuesday, March 26th, Priscilla shares the story of The Bridge and our mission to provide free afterschool programs for suburban teens. The Remarkable Women winner will be announced on Tuesday, April 2nd during the evening news cast. We are so thankful for this incredible opportunity! The Bridge Teen Center celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s legacy of coming together and making the world a better place for future generations through a community service project. Families and members of the community took time on the Martin Luther King holiday to work together and help further the mission of The Bridge.
