We couldn’t operate The Bridge Thrift Store without the help of many volunteers that work tirelessly to process donations and keep our shelves stocked with merchandise to raise much needed support for our teen programs.
Our adult thrift store volunteers (those age 18+ and a high school graduate) will commit to serve weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly for 2-4 hours. Days and hours are flexible depending on the nature of the position and your availability.
Volunteer opportunities are available Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10AM to 5PM and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10AM to 7PM.
Popular Volunteer Roles:
- Clothing Sorters
- Glassware Cleaning & Processing
- Donation Truck Drivers & Lifters
- Jewelry Processors
- Store Greeter
Getting Started
The Bridge Thrift Store wants every volunteer to serve based on their skills, interests, and passions. More importantly, we want your volunteer experience to be as fulfilling for you as it is for the students we serve.
Every volunteer is required to complete an application, an in-person interview, and training. For the safety of our students, all thrift store volunteers are run through the national sex offenders lists and are subject to background checks. Please note, all students (in 7th-12th grade) that would like to volunteer at The Bridge Thrift Store should click here.
