Under the Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director (ED), the Executive Assistant provides vital support to the Executive Director in the areas of administration, operations, development, and finance.

Sales Associates are responsible for ensuring all guests have an extremely positive impression of (and experience shopping at) The Bridge Thrift Store. They will work alongside the Co-Founder/Store Director and Assistant Manager in serving guest needs, creating a community atmosphere and supporting the sales floor. This position is open to high school students who are at least 16 years old. 15-20 hours/week position. 

The Bridge is hiring a full-time (30-40 hours/week) Key Holder to work at The Bridge Thrift Store in Orland Park and Bridge Thrift Home & Restoration in Frankfort. This role will take the lead in opening and closing both thrift stores and leading the team in the absence of the Store Operator or Assistant Store Operator.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Plant Care Specialist to join our team at our Taking Root Plant Shop, located inside Bridge Thrift Home & Restoration in Frankfort, Illinois. The ideal candidate will assist with plant care, disease management, propagating, guest services and general retail tasks.

Under the leadership of the Program Director, the intern will provide assistance with planning, organization, and implementation of various programs and events.

Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing, the intern will provide assistance within the specific areas of graphic design, marketing, public relations, development, and promotion of The Bridge Teen Center and The Bridge Thrift Store.

The Social Media & Communications Intern will have the opportunity to learn new skills, grow The Bridge Teen Center’s social media presence and make a big contribution to our Marketing Department. Under the Director of Marketing, the Social Media & Communications Intern will assist in the story telling of student programs, events, and promotion of upcoming student programs and fundraising events.

Under the leadership of the Marketing Department, the intern will provide assistance in the creation, planning, and execution of videos for entertainment, educational, promotional, and training purposes for students, volunteers, and the general public.

Under the leadership of the Volunteer & Job Readiness Coordinator of The Bridge Thrift Store, the intern will provide assistance in the specific areas of marketing, communications, business, public relations, community outreach, event planning, operational procedures, and day-to-day operations.

Under the leadership of the Program Director, the intern will provide assistance regarding planning, organizing, and implementing programs, Friday Night Live (FNL) events, and signature events.
