The Bridge Builders Hall of Fame, established in 2010 as a way to recognize those who make a significant impact on the organization, welcomed two new inductees last month. The new inductees join Al Ricchio (2010), Mike Lunsford (2011), Melissa Ferriter (2012), Lucille Persson (2013), Marilyn Aspan (2014) and 22nd Century Media/Orland Park Prairie (2015). This year's inductees include:
PacMoore Products: PacMoore caught the vision of The Bridge Teen Center before the doors ever opened, thanks to Bill and Susie Moore. The couple lent their support to the creation of the original 2,400 square foot facility back in 2009-2010. Since then, PacMoore's team has been intimately involved in creating an innovative leadership program series for The Bridge called LeadU. The multi-pod series is now presented in many local public schools by The Bridge. PacMoore has also been a committed monthly supporter since 2010, providing very generous financial support to The Bridge. Bill Moore continues to serve as a valued member of The Bridge's Advisory Board, and many PacMoore team members serve as advisors in other capacities. The Andrew Family: Most locals are aware of the multi-generational impact of the Andrew family in the community. Their names are synonymous with charitable giving and philanthropic endeavors all over the Chicago Southland area. The Bridge Teen Center is no exception. The Andrew Family Foundation's youth board provided the seed money that launched The Bridge's first 2,400 square foot space in 2010. Since then, the Aileen S. Andrew Foundation has provided over $450,000 in capital support that helped purchase the building and complete our second major expansion project. The Andrew family's ongoing commitment to supporting the free programs at The Bridge Teen Center continue to be a driving force behind our organization.
