MLK Day of Service

MLK DAY OF SERVICE

Join us as we celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service during our annual MLK Day of Service event! This special day unites local families, businesses, and community members to connect in meaningful ways through hands-on volunteerism that makes a lasting impact.

This year’s event will take place on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Volunteers will spend a few hours working on projects that directly support the mission of The Bridge Teen Center, helping sustain the FREE programs and events that impact thousands of local teens each year.

Volunteer Groups | 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

We invite schools, businesses, and community organizations to serve together on our MLK Day of Service. Volunteer groups can range from 8 people to over 100. All volunteers must be at least 12 years or older, and student groups must include one adult chaperone for every 10 students.

"Everybody can be great because everybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace, and a soul generated by love." ~Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
