There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to offering 350+ free programs and events each year, and it often feels like some extremely impactful offerings get lost in the shuffle.

Our goal here is to share some of our "lesser known" offerings with our friends and supporters. As you will see, these are incredible things that are literally impacting thousands of young lives!

Student Ambassadors

Students who frequent The Bridge and demonstrate a heart of service are hand-selected to serve as Student Ambassadors. These young leaders are invited to facilitate programs for younger students, provide support on Friday nights, and are given ongoing opportunities to learn valuable leadership skills.

Leadership Program

LeadU is an innovative multi-pod leadership series developed exclusively for high school students. This series walks students through a variety of leadership topics and is offered on and offsite to local public school groups. This powerful series helps teens understand that the first person they lead is themselves and has evolved to include topics relevant to today's most pressing issues. To date, LeadU has reached more than 1,600 different local teens.

Group Service Projects

As part of our commitment to helping teens become contributors and not just consumers, ongoing group service opportunities are offered to schools, churches, and other clubs. Each year, thousands of teens support their peers in this way by serving at The Bridge Thrift Store.

Inspiring Teen Centers Nationwide

Since 2010, The Bridge has been a national trendsetter in the teen afterschool space. As a result, we are contacted weekly by individuals and entities all across the country for guidance in starting new centers or improving existing programs. Although we are not able to provide intensive support to everyone, we strive to assist at least one each month. This is our way of "paying it forward" and extending The Bridge's impact nationally (currently 30 states and counting)!

School Support

The Bridge Teen Center's impact goes far beyond the walls of our own building. Local school administrators invite our team into schools on a regular basis to share positive messages and inspire students during assemblies and lunchroom presentations. In many cases, this is how students first learn about The Bridge. Schools also regularly visit The Bridge for special field trips.
