Join us for the Grand Opening Celebration
You’re invited to celebrate with us on Saturday, October 25, as we open our doors for the first time in this inspiring new place. Guests will enjoy a day filled with shopping, fun, and community connection, all while supporting free programs for teens.
Bridge Thrift Home & Restoration is an extension of The Bridge Teen Center’s mission to provide free afterschool programs and Friday night social events for students in 7th - 12th grade. Every item sold helps fund life-changing opportunities for local youth.
“We’re building more than just a store, “said Priscilla Steinmetz, Founder and Executive Director of The Bridge Teen Center. “Bridge Thrift Home & Restoration will be a destination, a place where shoppers can find one-of-a-kind items while directly impacting the lives of local teens.”
What You’ll Find Inside
Bridge Thrift Home & Restoration offers a curated thrifting experience that blends style, creativity, and purpose. Shoppers can look forward to:
- Stylish Furniture & home décor
- The “Tagged & Trendy” clothing collection

- A dedicated jewelry section
- A craft and repurposing corner for DIY inspirations

In addition to offering great finds, the second store will feature a Job Readiness & Leadership Training Center, a dedicated space that expands The Bridge’s Thriftastic Job Readiness Program. This area will provide teens with hands-on training, work experience, and life skills that prepare them for future success.

Why Frankfort?
The decision to open in Frankfort was a natural step in The Bridge’s growth. “We chose Frankfort because of its sense of community and connection,” said Steinmetz. “We’ve already served hundreds of teens from this and surrounding areas, so expanding here allows us to deepen those relationships and create new ones.”
Located just seven miles from The Bridge’s Orland Park teen center and thrift store, the Frankfort location expands access to job readiness, leadership, and community service opportunities, while also providing an affordable and stylish shopping destination that gives back.
