Ever seen a pipe organ up close? Although resembling a piano, this wind instrument is made up of thousands of individual pipes ranging in size from 4 inches to 32 feet tall. Not only used in churches, pipe organs have been used throughout history in performance theaters, circus/amusement shows and major professional sporting events for music. (Take me out to the Baaaaall game. Take me out to the crooooowd...) Sound familiar? Meet a couple of organ musicians too - they play this instrument with their hands AND feet at the same time! They’ll show you what it's like to master this mighty yet complex instrument. Hold an organ pipe or two and play a tune or play some random notes. We are pulling out all the stops for this program.
