This is your start to future destinations and adventures exploring shipwrecks and swimming with schools of fish! Experience the "weightless" exhilaration of breathing underwater. Discover the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. Certified experts at Dive Right In will demonstrate and coach you on safe breathing and exploration as you complete pool dives. Gain insight on certification and the difference between pool and open water (i.e. ocean or lake) dives. You must be in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable swimming in the water to participate. Please bring appropriate swimwear (no two-piece swimsuits), flip flops, and a towel. This is a super program, which means the duration is longer than usual. The Bridge will provide water and a snack for each student.

IMPORTANT: Students will travel in The Bridge Bus to Dive Right In located at 16336 104th Avenue in Orland Park. Must have "Permission to Transport" indicated on Student Membership Application.

ONLINE WAIVER(S): A parent/guardian must complete two forms and online training in order for their child/ren to participate, which can be retrieved below or by emailing [email protected]. Depending on the student's health, a doctor's signature may be needed on the waiver. Waivers must be submitted by Tuesday, July 17th (one week before program), otherwise students will not be able to participate.

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
