A pysanka is a Ukrainian Easter egg that is decorated with traditional folk designs. The really cool part about this custom is the way in which the colorful, intricate designs are applied. They are not painted on – instead, they are written with a special stylus in beeswax. Decorate eggs with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist method and colorful dyes. Try something new and don’t miss out! Shchaslyvoho Velykodnya! (That’s “Happy Easter” in Ukrainian.)
