Everyone has a story. Joy and hope, as well as hurt and betrayal, are a part of all of our stories. It can be especially difficult when our loved ones cause us emotional pain. It may be unintentional, but it can still hurt. When this happens, we have the powerful choice to either hold on to that hurt and let it grow into anger, resentment, and then bitterness. The other option is that we can forgive the people who have caused us harm. Forgiveness shows grace to the people who hurt us. Forgiveness doesn’t excuse their behavior, but it prevents their behavior from destroying your heart. Hear from local Pastors on tips that can help you heal from past hurts and lead you to forgive people who have caused harm. Sign up and know that you can shape your story! All are welcome in this safe space.
Online sign-up for this program (and all other April & May programs) will begin on Wednesday, March 12th at 7pm. Set a reminder to come back and sign up on/after March 12th!
Thank you to Roots of Resilience for sponsoring "On Mission Month" programs in April.
All Mind/Body programs are sponsored in part by Duly Health and Care.
Important Attendance Policy:
Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
