Bridge Students, get ready for SUCH a cool program! Hear from a local farmer and expert baker on how to make a sourdough starter. Fun fact: Making sourdough bread is quite a process - you first need to fill a mason jar full with unbleached flour and water and then “feed” it yeast over 7-10 days. Watch her make a loaf of sourdough as well. Then, do both on your own! Walk away with a sourdough starter and loaf to bake at home - make sure you tell your parents/guardians about your new projects. Become your own baker and see where this road leads… perhaps you’ll discover a new hobby, skill, or even career path!
Online sign-up for this program (and all other April & May programs) will begin on Wednesday, March 12th at 7pm. Set a reminder to come back and sign up on/after March 12th!
