Pot stickers or Jiaozi are Asian dumplings that are filled with veggies or ground meat and commonly eaten during the Chinese New Year. You’ll get the privilege to learn how to make these tasty creations from Joliet Junior College’s Certified and Master Chef, Tim Bucci.
Roll out a thin piece of dough and pack it with cooked veggies or pork. Practice properly cutting and chopping those ingredients too. Once they are in the middle of the dough, fold it over and seal it by pressing the edges together. Steam, boil, or pan-fry your finished pot stickers. Best part - dip them in a homemade soy or sweet chili sauce.

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
