VOLUNTEER & PROGRAM SUPPORT STAFF (PART-TIME)
Under the leadership of the Program Directors, this role will provide direct support in the specific area of afterschool programming, including set-up and tear-down, front desk support, interacting with students after school and on Friday nights, and providing administrative support for the part-time Volunteer Coordinator. This position will work 20-29 hours per week during afterschool hours and every other Friday night.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
We are seeking someone with a genuine call to work with students, a heart of service, and strong organizational skills. Must be passionate about loving and serving teenagers, with a strong desire to grow in that service as part of a high functioning team. Strong personal integrity and communication skills are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AS A TEAM MEMBER INCLUDE:
- Regularly pray for the organization, our leadership, and those we serve.
- Responsible for helping set up and clean up after events and programs and help close center.
- Oversee activity on the floor as assigned during after school hours.
- Welcome and direct volunteers and interns for scheduled program and after school positions.
- Provide administrative support to the part-time Volunteer Coordinator in the areas of processing volunteer/intern applications, preparing training materials, maintaining scheduling and other onboarding needs.
- Intentionally interact and build relationships with volunteers during student hours, providing valuable feedback to the part-time Volunteer Coordinator and Program Directors as needed.
- Provide support in the execution of the Volunteer Retention Plan and with volunteer appreciation efforts.
- Welcome and assist with student membership needs & lead students to assigned program to insure a safe, warm, and learning environment.
- Make introductions, help kick-off, and monitor programs to maintain flow during after school.
- Provide information and guidance to parents or adults in keeping with our safety policies during student hours.
- Help build intentional and influential relationships with teens and manage student behavior.
- Participate in Student Care Plan by communicating student situations or behavior that needs special attention.
- Work with other staff in providing feedback for creating new program ideas and events.
- Support in the on-boarding of new students by making calls / mailings to parents and welcoming them and answer general questions regarding membership and participation.
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Directors.
