The holidays can bring up a lot of emotions in people. Depending on their life experiences and relationships with family, the rush and buzz of this season can heighten certain feelings. Now’s a great time to figure out how to navigate all that may be bubbling up inside. A fun and friendly professional counselor will guide you through a few journal prompts so you can be prepared to have positive and healthy interactions. For those of you who are really brave, you’ll have the opportunity to role play situations that you think you might face. Finally, put some customized self-care tips in your “toolbox” to pull out when you need them. Walk into the holidays with intentionality, hope, and happiness!

All Mind/Body programs are sponsored in part by Authenticity Counseling.

This program takes place during Empowering Teens Month, which is held annually in November as a way to recognize the impact of afterschool programs for teens. It's also your chance to "pay it forward" and support The Bridge's free programs! For more information about how you can volunteer individually or as a group/family, click on the "donate" tab at thebridgeteencenter.org.

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
