Since we’ve opened the Patio at The Bridge, we’ve created a garden oasis! Take ownership in helping create a special place for all Bridge students by planting our veggie garden. Hear from a Master Gardener from the University of Illinois Extension about growing plants like tomatoes, cucumbers, and more in our environment. Plant pollinators that will draw insects like various types of bees, to the garden. Watch how the plants you added impact The Bridge!

Check out the other garden programs in May too, and sign up. Community service hours given for all three programs. One more thing… if you want to check out the garden’s progress and growth this summer, just ask a Bridge staffer and we’ll make it happen!

Online sign-up for this program (and all other April & May programs) will begin on Wednesday, March 12th at 7pm. Set a reminder to come back and sign up on/after March 12th!

All Community Connections programs are sponsored in part by
Old National Bank.

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
