Bridge students, it’s time to channel your inner baker! Learn from a local farmer and expert baker on how to make fresh chicken pot pies from scratch. Mix ingredients to create the pie crust and roll it out so it’s the perfect consistency and thickness. Then, have fun crimping the dough (i.e. pinch the edges with your fingers to make that cool decorative look). While all pies are in the oven, taste-test some homemade and fresh-from-the-farm apple pies as a fun treat. Take home your own pot pie and the recipe of course, so you can make it for an upcoming family dinner. They’ll be so impressed by your skills!

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
