Receiver (Part-Time)

Bridge Thrift Home & Restoration is hiring a part-time Receiver to assist with the processing and organization of donated goods at the Frankfort location. This position receives daily directions from the Assistant Store Operator and Store Leads. Great role for a high school or college student who has a flexible school schedule and summer availability.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Assists with receiving and organizing daily donations.
  • Organizes donation holding areas.
  • Orchestrates "back of house" donation processing.
  • Assists with daily opening and shut down procedures.
  • Provides support with moving furniture that is sold or donated.
  • Provides support with loading and unloading truck as needed.

MUST POSSESS:

  • Able to lift 30 pounds or more, including some furniture.
  • Must be available 10-15 hours per week during store hours.
  • Must be hard-working and committed to completing jobs with excellence.
  • Strong personal integrity and communication skills are required.
  • Outgoing personality and outwardly-focused mentality; Solid people skills.
  • Ability to prioritize schedule, tasks and projects and meet necessary deadlines.
  • Ability to clearly communicate issues before they become problems.
  • Friendly, responsive and patient approach.
  • Personal and professional integrity (even in social and online settings).
  • Think clearly and creatively, especially when problem-solving.
  • Sense of humor.
