Love the show Chicago Fire? Flashing lights, loud sirens, and the adrenaline rush - this is what some days look like for real firefighters and paramedics. They are the first to arrive at the scene of an emergency and more often than not, situations can be very dangerous. Hear first-hand about the required physical training, what day-to-day duties include, the closeness of the firefighter/paramedic family, and how they work together. Hear about the mental strength it takes to continue in these courageous careers. You’ll even have the option to brush up on First Aid and CPR* skills. Bonus: explore the inside of an emergency response vehicle these professionals use to save lives.
*This program will include a quick teaching of First Aid and CPR, not an official training course.
