Do you ever feel a tug on your heart strings for people who are struggling? Maybe you’ve seen a friend or stranger being slightly disrespected or blatantly bullied (online or in person). Should you step in and help, or not? What should you say or do / not say and not do? We totally understand that standing up to do the right thing can be really overwhelming - we’re here to help!

In this program, you’ll have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of yourself and others through cool group games. You’ll also gain confidence and tips on how to live a life of compassionate purpose. Learn the real meaning of justice, empathy, and experience how impactful a welcoming, inclusive attitude can be. Perhaps reach out to a friend who seems passionate about justice issues and see if they can join us!

All Community Connections programs are sponsored in part by Old National Bank.

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
