Stephanie Schmidt

A native of the Chicago Southland, Stephanie grew up in Oak Forest and has been involved in youth outreach since she was a teen herself. She graduated in 2015 with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, where she led the campus newspaper staff, a local church Sunday school program, and a horse ranch ministry.

Prior to joining The Bridge staff in 2026, Stephanie served in mission-focused roles in hospitality, publishing, and veterinary services. As a Program & Events Associate and former volunteer at The Bridge, she is thrilled to utilize her diverse experience and skill set to serve students by crafting exceptional experiences at The Bridge’s Friday night events.

Stephanie enjoys learning about Chicago history and exploring the city, listening to audio dramas and true crime podcasts, and hanging out with her two pups and three birds!
