Sheldon Major

Sheldon grew up in Orland Park and graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He currently is part of the Master’s of Business Management program at UIC. Following his undergraduate studies, he worked as an Assistant Programs Coordinator and a Tutor for kindergarten through 12th grade students.

Sheldon became part of The Bridge team in the summer of 2024 as an intern for the "Thrifastic" Job Readiness Program, and earned a part-time role in the same department. As a member of the "Thriftastic" team, Sheldon is responsible for guiding students looking to gain valuable experience in a thriving retail environment at The Bridge Thrift Store. He enjoys seeing students grow mentally and emotionally, and the confidence that accompanies that growth.

Some of Sheldon’s favorite activities include cooking, playing sports, traveling, and a good debate!
