Leah Wideman

Leah Wideman hails from Chicago, Illinois, a city she is very proud to be from. Her passion for working with kids and teens began in high school where she served at her church. She studied Elementary Education and minored in science at Trinity Christian College. At Trinity, she participated in student government and mentored freshman students. After graduating, she taught fifth grade. After teaching, she returned to Trinity and worked in the Alumni Office.
While working at Trinity, she also began a masters degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She joins the Bridge staff to return to working with her favorite age group: teenagers! In her role as the Job Readiness Program Assistant, Leah guides and trains students through the Job Readiness Program at the Bridge Thrift Store. She plays a role in developing students' proficiency in time management, personal and peer leadership, decision-making, and various other essential skills.

Leah enjoys hiking, bike riding, being involved in her church community, and spending quality time with friends and family.
