Choose from a variety of colors and patterns of fabric to create a colorful table runner. If you’re not familiar, table runners have been traditionally used to protect kitchen or dining room surfaces from scuffs, scratches, spills and hot dishes. They can also be made with so many different colors, patterns, and fabrics. Such a fun way to add to any homes’ decor! So, have fun with this and perhaps give it to your parents, guardians, or grandparents. Practice using the essential components to a sewing machine – install the needle, wind and insert the bobbin, thread the sewing machine, and more. A few life-long passionate sewers will bring fabric and sewing patterns for you to use. All levels welcome, but they’ll especially be ready for the beginners who are ready to learn the lost art of sewing!

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
