Do you want to be ahead of the game when it comes to self-confidence and experience at your first job? Learn how to operate the touch-screen cash register and develop your customer service skills at The Bridge’s new-ish thrift store - Bridge Thrift Home & Restoration! You’ll get to check out their new one-of-a-kind Job Readiness Training Center that’s in the thrift store - it’s a bougie space that’s for students like YOU! Prepare now and be ready for when that opportunity arises – you’ll be so thankful you have what it takes to do an excellent job. One more thing… we might have time to shop, so bring some money just in case! This is a super program, which means the duration is longer than usual.
OFFSITE PROGRAM: Students will travel in The Bridge Bus to Bridge Thrift Home & Restoration, located at 21420 S Harlem Avenue in Frankfort. Must have "Permission to Transport" indicated on Student Membership Application.
All Community Connections programs are sponsored in part by Tech Credit Union.

Important Attendance Policy:
Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
