Have no idea what this is? No worries – let us explain. (You’re going to love it!)
This craft is also known as block printing. Start by sketching out a few geometric designs on paper - stick to simple lines and shapes. When you decide on one design, place your paper upside down on a square linoleum (i.e. rubber) plate. Rub over the paper with a pencil, so the design in completely transferred onto the plate. Next, use a carving tool to cut out some of the rubber from the design. Cover the plate in water-based ink by using a brayer, a rubber roller tool. Take your DIY stamp block and press it onto a fresh piece of paper or fabric. Ink your stamp again and keep rotating it clockwise until the whole surface is covered. Cool, right?
