Have no idea what this is? No worries - you’re going to love it! Start by sketching out a few geometric designs on paper - stick to simple lines and shapes. When you decide on one design, place your paper upside down on a square linoleum (i.e. rubber) plate. Rub over the paper with a pencil so the design is completely transferred onto the plate. Next, use a carving tool to cut out some of the rubber from the design. Cover the plate in water-based ink by using a brayer, a rubber roller tool. Take your DIY stamp block and press it onto a fresh piece of paper or fabric. Ink your stamp again and keep rotating it clockwise until the whole surface is covered. See you there!

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
