Get moving with exercises that stimulate the body’s de-stress responses. It’s really cool - check it out! Stress is like a gas pedal, which many people get stuck on. The Vagus nerve, which is connected to the spine, serves as a brake pedal to slow things down and de-stress. Research shows that this nerve is linked to emotions, anxiety, and even depression. So, when certain nerves and muscles are activated through physical exercises, our bodies and minds can be in a calmer, more relaxed state. Try some simple contraction exercises that you can do at home. Have a post-workout refreshing lemonade on us, too!

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
