Stress is like a gas pedal, which many people get stuck on. Research shows that certain nerves are connected to stress (“fight or flight”) and others are connected to peace (“rest and digest.”) So, when those peaceful nerves and muscles are activated through physical exercises, our bodies and minds can be in a calmer, more relaxed state. Find out what your typical stress response is through a cool piece of tech that measures your heart rate and skin temp. Then, try some simple breathing and contraction exercises that can boost confidence and reduce stress. Have a post-workout bevy on us - a punch with FRESH fruit! Students should wear modest and comfy clothes, socks, and sneakers.

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
