Design simple text and create it into word art (aka typography) with the guidance of a graphic design professor. With tracing paper and magazines, draw a few large letters. Pay attention to the details of the different parts of the letter (i.e. the flourish at the bottom of the letter F or the length of the crossbar on a T). Then, spell out your first name with a different font for each letter. Modify the letters as desired. Bonus: Hear a bit about the array of graphic design careers too, which are totally exploding right now! There are so many possibilities in social media, marketing, website design, and more. Important Attendance Policy:
Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
