Think “healthy” and “holiday” don’t go together? Wrong! You can make them work as a happy duo of good-for-you tastiness! Get that holiday scent going by roasting pecans on the stove. Toss them in savory spices and add them to a petite salad of greens, dried fruit, and homemade dressing. This will fill you up more than you think, but not in an overwhelmingly full way. 

Make room for dessert, too! Mix cacao powder, natural sweetener, lime/lemon juice, salt and soft avocados. Know what you’ve got? Chocolate avocado pudding! Pipe this sweet dessert into gluten-free mini tarts. There you go – healthy and holiday for your next family gathering!

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
