Winter Program Magazine
Posted on Dec 15 2020 by Aaron Heldt
After pausing in-person programming since mid-November and providing Bridge @ Home kits to students, we look forward to tentatively resuming in-person programming with reduced capacity in early January.
Our Winter Program Magazine with our January and February programs can be seen here. Printed copies are available outside our front door and inside The Bridge Thrift Store. Online Program sign-up begins Monday, December 28th at 2:00pm on our website.
In January and February, The Bridge will offer a hybrid of in-person programs and programs through Zoom and video. All afterschool programs will be limited to groups of 10. Students will only be permitted to sign up for one program per day.
For the safety of our students, volunteers and staff, we are pausing Friday Nights in January. We will reassess later in January to decide if we will host Friday Nights in February.
Advance Sign Up Required
Students have the opportunity to visit The Bridge Teen Center Tuesday through Friday if they are signed up in advance for an afterschool program or Friday Night event. Drop-In hours have been temporarily suspended until further notice. Please do not drop off a student unless they are signed-up for a program or Friday night group.
Student membership is FREE to teens in 7th – 12th grade. Students who are currently in 7th - 12th grade are eligible for Bridge Membership. Students and their parents/guardians may apply for membership online RIGHT HERE.
New students and their families may schedule a tour of our space, meet our staff, and learn more about The Bridge Teen Center. Tours will last approximately 30 minutes. Although a tour is not required for membership, they are encouraged so students can see the facility and get to know us. Before your tour, please complete a Student Membership Application. To schedule a tour, call 708.532.0500 or email [email protected]. Please include the first and last name of your teen in your email or voicemail.
The Bridge has implemented new safety guidelines and modifications to provide a clean and healthy experience for students. See specific COVID-19 safety information HERE. We would like to thank those who helped support our safety modifications, including: NuMark Credit Union and Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, PolyJohn, Custom Plate Glass in Posen, ProMedSupply.com, and those who purchased items from our Amazon Wishlist..
