Teens Can Serve at The Bridge Thrift Store
Posted on Mar 10 2021 by Aaron Heldt
Earn community service hours while serving at The Bridge Thrift Store. Serving the local community is so beneficial for students and their service will help fund the FREE programs for local teens at The Bridge Teen Center.
What Students Do
Students who volunteer will help by sorting, cleaning and pricing donated items, greeting our thrift store guests, and stocking and maintaining our sales floor. This is a year-round opportunity for individual students or student groups. Community service letters are issued to verify service hours.
When Can Students Serve?
Individual service can be scheduled between 10am - 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and 10am - 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
How to Get Started
Students who already hold a student membership of The Bridge Teen Center need to call 708.532.0500 or send an email to [email protected] to schedule service.
Students new to The Bridge Teen Center need to complete a FREE Student Membership Application and select “YES” to community service. Shortly after your application is received, we will reach out to schedule your service.
Get a FREE T-Shirt
Students that volunteer during their Spring Break will receive a FREE T-SHIRT, while supplies last.
We are taking a number of precautions to keep volunteers safe while they serve. Masks are required to be worn at all times during service while maintaining a safe distance. Learn more about our COVID-19 Safety Procedures.
