Announcing the 2022 Winter/Spring Semester

We are excited to begin a new semester of FREE student programming and events. Here is the Winter/Spring Program Magazine with January through May programs. Printed copies will be available outside our front door and inside The Bridge Thrift Store.

This semester we have over 120+ FREE student programs scheduled to take place in January through May. Programs range from culinary programs, art programs, music programs, hangout programs and more. All students must sign-up for programs in advance for afterschool programs. Online program sign-up begins Thursday, December 16th at 2:00pm on our website. Some programs may fill up quickly; however, we always encourage students to still sign-up for the waiting list as cancelations do occur and we work to contact those on the waiting list to fill the program.

Our popular Friday Night Live events will continue every other Friday night from 7:30 - 10:30pm throughout the semester. Students will enjoy fun games, activities, themed nights, open art studio, and FREE food samples from your favorite local restaurants and shops. Friday Nights are FREE with a Bridge student membership. Beginning in January, students WILL NOT have to sign up to attend Friday Nights. Simply arrive any time during our open hours.

We are excited to offer two thrift store family nights during this semester. We will open The Bridge Thrift Store exclusively to current students, their families and Bridge Alumni from 6:30-8:30pm on Friday, February 18th and April 29th. During this exclusive event, students, their families, and Bridge Alumni can take 20% off their entire purchase storewide. Plus, you’ll be the first to see our store as items will be stocked in preparation for Saturday. This is an exclusive private event. Students must have their Bridge ID to enter and alumni are asked to bring their old ID or some Bridge memorabilia from their time as a student.

For students wanting to gain work experience in a thriving retail environment we encourage you to apply to our Thriftastic Job Readiness Program. Available for students in 7th-12th grade, our customized Thriftastic Job Readiness program will help students build their resume and gain valuable skills for their future. To apply before the deadline and learn more, visit our Thriftastic Job Readiness program page.

Every year we help hundreds of local students earn community service at The Bridge Thrift Store. Not only will students show their heart of service but their service helps fund the free student programs and events at The Bridge Teen Center. To learn more and schedule service visit our Student Community Service page.

Student membership is FREE to teens to students currently in 7th - 12th grade. Not a member? Apply for a FREE membership by completing a Student Membership Application. After your application has been submitted, we encourage new students and their families to schedule a 30 minute family tour. Family tours are not required but can be scheduled by sending an email to [email protected].

It’s important for every Bridge family member to do their part to keep everyone safe and healthy. For details regarding our current COVID-19 safety measures, click here.
