Michelle is a resident of Tinley Park, and is a graduate of Benedictine University (Bachelor of Arts in Psychology) and National University of Health Sciences (Bachelor of Science in Human Biology). She has a passion both for teaching and the intellectual, social and emotional growth of teenagers, serving in the field of education and volunteer ministry for over 18 years.
Michelle’s teaching experience first began as a special education teacher and case manager, later transitioning into instructor roles with the Oak Forest Park District. Most recently, she worked as a substitute teacher for Tinley Park School District #146. Michelle has also served as a Sunday School Teacher, Awana Leader and High School Youth Ministry Leader.
Her role as Program Administrative Assistant involves assisting with student membership and retention, overall student care and providing program operations support. She enjoys meeting and fostering relationships with both students and parents. Michelle also provides administrative support to the Program Team, and is grateful for the privilege and responsibility of being a Bridge Gladiators.
Michelle’s highest calling is being wife to her husband Jim, and mom to Brian and Ashley. In her free time, Michelle enjoys strolling through botanical gardens, hiking with family, gardening and shopping for antique country primitives.
She can’t refuse M&M’s, Trader Joe’s vanilla chai tea, or binge watching Smallville.
