Go behind the scenes of computer science! Discover how a server (a computer running an operating system or “OS”) and a client (your personal computer) work together to deliver content, like sharing files or playing multiplayer games across a network or the internet. An OS, like Mac or Windows for example, provides a user interface and manages tasks between the software and a device’s hardware. Take this opportunity to set up a Minecraft multi-player server, using the operating system called Linux. Then, work at your own station to test the server, learn options in controlling the game, and play against your fellow Bridge friends!

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
