How do you deal with haters? Instead of choosing to get offended or retaliating, respond by taking the high road with positivity. Choosing to be positive and kind can be very difficult, but it helps to remember that everyone has a story. We don’t know the kind of day someone has had or what kind of environment he or she lives in. People’s words and actions have consequences, but when we respond to others with understanding and compassion, many times negative situations are significantly diffused. Join Mrs. Illinois International, who has done extensive work combatting bullying and spreading kindness, as we discuss practical steps of not allowing negativity to steal our joy. Become a happier person!

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
