Give back! Whether you need community service hours or you just like to serve others, come spend the afternoon giving back. Thrift stores are an important part of the community because they encourage repurposing and provide goods at an affordable price. We’ll be volunteering our time The Bridge Thrift Store, which keeps The Bridge Teen Center open and free for teens like you.
This time around, we’ll sort clothes and pick out the ones that could use a good wash. Not sure how to read the funny laundry symbols on the inside tag? We’ll show you what all those mean! Use these skills at home (or when you go away to college) so you don’t have to see your favorite clothes go to waste because of a laundry mishap. Learn which colors to wash together and when to choose machine-drying vs. air-drying. Help the Thrift Store by sprucing up gently-used items before they are priced and go out on the sales floor. Come help out! Community service hours will be given.

Important Attendance Policy:
Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls or text messages are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
