Practice this technique of painting, in which small distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image. The pointillist movement was started by Georges Seurat and Paul Signac and wasn’t very popular in the beginning! But the technique grew in popularity and was even practiced by Vincent Van Gough in a self-portrait. What do you think about this painting style? Join in the artistic critique, try a new way of painting, and develop your artistic style.

Our Expressive Arts programming is supported in part by a grant from the Benjamin Benedict Green-Field Foundation.

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
