Walk into any bakery and you’ll likely see these popular pastries on display. It’s time to roll up your sleeves and make cream puffs and eclairs yourself! Learn French culinary techniques from a trained pastry chef, such as how to make “pâte à choux” (a dough paste) which you’ll bake into light and airy pastry shells. Fill the shells with a vanilla pastry cream made from heavy cream and eggs for a sweet richness sure to please. Decide if they’ll be cream puffs with a dusting of powdered sugar or eclairs with a coating of chocolate ganache.  Learn to transform simple fresh ingredients into these internationally popular sweet treats! 

This program is two hours. By signing up, students commit to participating in the program for the entire two-hour duration.

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
