Gain skills necessary for expressing your voice, standing up for yourself and others, and becoming a leader. Assertiveness is an important social and communication skill to develop as early as possible so that you can stay strong in doing what’s right and speak up to defend your values in a calm and positive way. Instead of passively accepting and witnessing “wrongs”, stand up to make the world a better place and be an advocate for what you believe in. Defend someone who is being bullied, share your ideas in doing things better during group projects, and lead a team to success.

Important Attendance Policy:

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
