Reach for the sky and build a tetrahedral kite (Google it!) using simple elements of geometry and science. A tetrahedron is a shape in geometry with four triangular faces, six straight edges, and four vertex corners. Sounds complicated? It’s actually really simple to make this unique kite! By using straws, string, and tissue paper, you’ll make a brightly colored and light-weight 3-D kite that will stay in the air for as long as the winds hold up. Turn your eyes to the skies with a new spin on the classic kite!

Important Attendance Policy:
Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. Confirmation calls are made 48-72 hours prior to every program. If you do not respond to our confirmation call within 24 hours of the program, a student on the waiting list will fill your spot. If a student is a "no show" for 2 or more programs, they will be automatically placed on the waiting list for other programs they have signed up for during that semester. 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations.
