Project Serve: Tea Time At Smith Crossing GIRLS ONLY

Wednesday, July 31, Noon-4:00pm

In an effort to give back to the community, connect generations, and teach the importance of focusing on others, we will be hosting a high tea for the residents at Smith Crossing Retirement Community in Orland Park. If you attended our “Things Every Young Lady Should Know” program, come put your etiquette knowledge to use by helping put this on. Students will start the program at The Bridge, where they will help prepare some of the food for the tea, then head to the center where our students will serve the food and enjoy the high tea. Girls will sit and talk one-on-one with residents, hear their stories, play games, and bring a positive atmosphere to the center.

Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. If you need to cancel, 48 hours notice is required so those on our waiting lists can be notified. …More
