Destress Yoga
Wednesdays, March 7 thru March 28, 5-6pm
Feeling stressed out about life, can’t seem to make a quick decisions or stand on one leg without losing your balance? Come try the oldest physical discipline in existence known to humankind, Yoga. The practice of Yoga will give you an outlet for stress and frustration in your life. Yoga can be enjoyed by anyone at any fitness level. Yoga relaxes, strengthens and calms the body and mind. Learn different poses and breathing techniques that will help improve your concentration and muscle strength. Yoga is associated with a healthy and lively lifestyle with a balance approach to life. Yoga mats are provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have one.
Students should wear comfortable stretchy clothes (no short shorts or half shirts – this is a coed program).
Out of respect to our volunteers, please be sure you can attend the programs you sign up for. If you need to cancel, 48 hours notice is required so those on our waiting lists can be notified.
