Chefs' Auction fundraiser scheduled for Thursday, 2/23

Thursday, February 23, 2017; 6:00-10:00 p.m.
Dress: Business
at the Orland Chateau (14500 S. LaGrange Rd., Orland Park, IL)

The Village of Orland Park's annual Chefs' Auction event is one of the most highly anticipated fundraisers in the community, and for the third straight year, it will benefit The Bridge Teen Center. The event features some of the most prominent local restaurants whose chefs create some amazing dishes to share with guests in a "tasting" format. From Cooper's Hawk to Harvest Room to Wooden Paddle Pizza, this event truly is the "who's who" of the local culinary world - and a must-attend for any serious foodie.

The event also features live entertainment, highlighted this year by another unforgettable performance from Elliott From of ArtBeat Live - whose paintings have raised millions for charities all over the country. This year, Elliott's Cubs themed painting is expected to have a lot of active bidding. There will also be live music at the event from student musicians, as well as a special presentation from the Founder of The Bridge Teen Center, Priscilla Steinmetz.

In addition to great food, the event centers around a silent and live auction. The live auction is hosted by Mayor Dan McLaughlin, and features special packages contributed by all the participating restaurants. Past live auction packages have included group dining experiences, party packages at your home or workplace, intimate dining packages, and more. Both the silent and live auctions always generate spirited bidding and raise significant amounts of support for The Bridge.

As of 2/15/17, confirmed restaurants include:

  • Cooper's Hawk
  • Dancing Marlin
  • Burger 21
  • El Pueblito
  • Wooden Paddle Pizza
  • Fox's Restaurant
  • Nothing Bundt Cakes
  • Rocco Vino's
  • Siam Marina
  • Cafe Gaston
  • Beggar's Pizza

As of Wednesday, 2/15 we are very near capacity for this event (less than 15 tickets remain). To inquire about tickets or tables, contact Rob Steinmetz at 708.532.0500 or via email at

Online bidding will be available for the silent auction only. Please click here to register and place your bids.

Many thanks to the Village of Orland Park for choosing to "give local" in support of The Bridge by hosting this event. We also thank Orland Chateau for their extreme generosity in donating the use of their facility and staff for the evening.
