For Students
The Bridge Teen Center provides free holistically-designed programs and events for students in 7th-12th grade during afterschool and unsupervised hours in a safe and welcoming environment. Programs at The Bridge are designed around the interests and needs of teens in the suburbs, and are offered in five "buckets" (Community Connections, Educational Support, Everday Life, Expressive Arts, and Mind/Body). On Friday nights (7th-12th grade) and Saturday nights (10th-12th grade), free entertainment for students is offered, which includes live music in "The Garage" (The Bridge Teen Center's official music venue...more information below). Students can hang-out/drop-in on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2-6pm (summer hours 1-6pm) and Friday/Saturdays from 7:30-10:30pm without having to sign-up in advance. Planned programs are also offered during these hours, and students are invited to sign-up online or by phone and join in. For the safety of everyone at The Bridge Teen Center, every student must have a completed student membership application on file. Click the buttons below to download an application, view our calendar, like our Facebook page, or follow us on Twitter.
"The Garage" is The Bridge Teen Center's official venue for weekend entertainment, including live music. The stage was primarily constructed so that students have a place to express themselves creatively during open mic nights and through perfoming live either individually or with a band. Touring bands and other local musicians also perform in The Garage during Friday and Saturday night events. If you or your band are interested in performing at The Bridge Teen Center, please contact Priscilla at 708.532.0500 or via email at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
