Matt Jung

Program Operations Assistant

Matt Jung

A native of Tinley Park, Matt joins the full time staff of the Bridge following his graduation from St. Ambrose University in the spring of 2022 with a bachelor's degree in Human Performance and Fitness, along with minors in biology and theology. At school Matt was involved in campus ministry, serving as a Peer Campus Minister for two years in a freshman residential hall. He was also a member of the cross country and track teams, leaving a legacy as being one of five cross country runners in school history to qualify for the national championships all 4 years.

Matt is no stranger to the Bridge, starting as student in 2013 where he served as a student ambassador from 2014 until his graduation in 2018. He then joined the part-time staff in 2019, serving seasonally when he was back from college in the summer and winter months. His new role at the Bridge allows him to continue making meaningful relationships with students as part of the program staff, along with helping to care for and maintain the center in his new operational role.

When he is not working, Matt is continuing to run competitively as part of a post-collegiate club back in Davenport, IA. He also loves being involved in his church, anything Disney, Star Wars, or baseball related, and spending his time outside enjoying nature.
