Amber became involved with The Bridge Teen Center as a student in 7th grade, and began her professional connection to the organization in high school as a part-time staff member assisting with grant writing and research.
In her current full-time role, Amber serves as lead on three major Bridge events, including Chefs' Auction, Drive Out Bullying and the annual Open House. She also assists with numerous other development and marketing related functions at both The Bridge Teen Center and The Bridge Thrift Store.
As a student at Tinley Park High School, Amber served as President of her class all four years. During that same time period, she logged more than 700 hours of community service, was selected as one of Chicago Tribune’s “18 Under 18”, and led nationally-recognized service projects as part of Global Youth Service Day.
Amber is an active student at Olivet Nazarene University and is pursuing her degree in Nonprofit Business Administration. She also runs her own baby, dog and house sitting service as a side business. She looks forward to a lifetime of service through her career in the nonprofit sector, and hopes to someday run her own Bridge Teen Center.
Amber loves golf, networking, and vanilla chai tea.
